There are many animated gif stickers/emotions available. Most of them has opaque background. GIF Studio helps you remove the background of an existing gif, make your own sticker or emoji with transparent background easily. This feature is usually only available in PC softwares. Now, GIF Studio V1.8.0 brings it to the Android^TM phones. The user interface is  simple and intuitive. You don’t need have designer knowledge, the result is directly drawn on the screen. A gif with transparent background is desirable when you want to add it as an animated sticker into a photo. Step 1

Open the animated gif sticker in “Now Playing” screen. Click the “Transparent Color” button on top left of the screen, the water drop shaped icon.

In the Transparent Color configuration screen, moving the color picker to select the color which will be used as transparent color. If the gif is still loading, the alert message will pop up, just need to wait a while. Now, move the Color Picker to the background area with white color. The chess board background shown that the image area will be transparent. Adjust the color range by sliding the seek bar left or right. Click the Cancel button on the bottom left of the screen to deselect the transparent color. Press Save to save the gif to file. This may take a few seconds to minute depending on the phone’s computing power.

Step 3

After the file is saved, the Now Playing screen is pop up again. The generated animated emotion gif has a transparent background. Click the Sticker button to add it into a photo.

For detail steps, please refer to page: How add sticker, emoticon to animated gif – GIFStudio. You may need to swap the foreground and background images, select the background image, moving the gif to correct position before saving the design. If the background image/photo is too large, this could cause problem. Please reduce the background photo before this operation. Press Save button to generate output gif.

Now, you should have a photo with an animated sticker on it. Don’t stop here. Using GIF Studio you can easily create your own sticker using photos or camera. Add texts to the animated gif as shown below:
